30 y/o m, studied at a brick and mortar uni whilst living in halls, but dropped out in my early twenties. I know it's not good to self-diagnose but fairly certain I have ADHD and plan to see a GP soon. Like Marion, I did ok in school so I think it went largely unnoticed. It's only in the past couple years I have begun to realise how certain behaviours I (and others in my life) have accepted as just being part of my personality, may actually be indicative of ADHD. Constantly late (extremely poor sense of time), starting multiple tasks all at once (and jumping from task to task), inability to focus on things I have little or no interest in, overthinking and difficulty organising thoughts - the list goes on. I started studying on a distance learning basis a couple years ago, and I find this to be much more manageable. Definitely something to consider for those who either have ADHD, or like me, suspect they may have it. Good luck!

Hi love the video i felt that similar feeling wanting to impress people yet not being able to commit to work untill last minute in fear of what the teacher will think of me . As for uni i am kind of scared because its a new change and i fear showing myself and not being the happy face or really asking for help because i fear poeple are calling me an idiot . But i will try to seek comfort from others its just well hard to understand my feeling or well myself like do i deserve to feel this way . Well anyway loved your talk from another fellow autistic person you inspired me as i see my parts in you the fear yet the desire . Well sorry for ramboling on i dont like to misunderstood so well this my message to you love yourself and well be strong like you are now and i will try

Thank you❤ I also just found out that I lost a friend and it just shocked me. It's been a week since I found out and the last time that I talked to him it seemed like as if I thought I was gonna be able to talk to him again and see him again but days after he died of an overdose and I didn't even know it. I didn't expect it. He was such an amazing person and he encouraged so many people, He had a beautiful heart and spirit. My friend David will forever be missed but never forgotten❤

I lost my best friend in June or 2023. He died from a fentanyl overdose. He was by himself, up late at night smoking. its a trip that this guy who was so full of life and energy and love made a simple mistake and took just a little bit too much, but that little bit was just enough to get him to the point of no return. And now the friend ( more like a brother ) ive had for the last 18 years is no more and will never be again. I miss him dearly and sometimes wish I couldve went with him.

I lost the friendship of a good friend, to drugs, 3 years ago. I'm against drugs. He got in with people, who did drugs. His personality changed & he became a nasty guy. He'd do jobs for people, to get money. Then he'd use people for money & not bother to do the work. He'd ask for the money, first. I had to cut him out of my life. It was painful to see him, as he had become, a drug addict. I had tried, at first, to be a friend to him. But he was a changed guy, verbally abusive to me, angry & he had erratic moods. He also became violent. I couldn't cope, so I had to walk away & go 'no contact'. He is still alive, but he's not well. It saddens me to see him like this. 😥 We had a great friendship, he used to be a lovely, kind guy. This was until he got involved with druggies & turned on me & his other good friends, who don't touch drugs. 😥

Thank you for your insightful video! I too suffer with OCD and Pure O, OCD can really take the form of any theme and is always extremely difficult to manage. It has made me avoid people and places as the anxiety is too intense at times. I have started meditating and praying with my boyfriend. As well as eating healthily and hitting the gym , it has helped enormously :).

Wow! Great video. Starting my BA in October as a 40 year old! I was diagnosed approximately at 32 years old. Approved for DSA, looking online as I’m feeling like it’s too big for me to achieve; I guess for inspiration/encouragement. You should be proud, I could relate to much of what you were going through as I’m a business owner and constantly procrastinate and leave things until the last minute. I can read for hours and not take in a thing. I will use many of your coping mechanisms. Thank you so much. Nice one ☝️

Could you tell me if you inhale or exhale air during the vocal tic? I think you are inhaling, when producing the tic sound. But I'm not sure. I'm asking you that because I have already felt like doing similar vocal sounds, and I used to do, INHALING air. I don't have tourettes "officially", but I have "temporary tics". They come and go from time to time.

If you are worried about your own and your most loved ones' life, move to a Communist Country, such as China, or even NZ, where the most insidious and potentially deadly virus ever known to man is not tolerated in the communities. Because there human life is placed above profit of the few. I can't tell you stay safe, because it is not dependent on you (how unfathomably sad and scary!). Only good luck. I hope to see you again alive. Over. p.s.: I'm a shadow jumper. Come with me my friend, since what are you? A shadow jumper, too. If only everyone was a shadow jumper. The most insidious and potentially deadly virus ever known to man would have then been eradicated from the face of Earth.
